The Loose Ring allow for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure. The bit is immediately reset to a neutral position in the horse’s mouth.
The Buster Roller link is shortened which increases bar and tongue pressure making this mouthpiece sharper than conventional link bits. The increased pressure on the bar will lift the head and the roller will increase pressure on the tongue bringing the chin in. Best suited for a horse with a low head carriage and which leans on the bit.
>Cheekpiece
Bomber’s preferred cheekpiece. The cheekpiece is available in 2 sizes; standard and a slightly smaller model for a pony. Bomber highly recommends using a bit strap on a loose ring, as it stabilizes and minimizes the mouthpiece sliding through the mouth. Consider bit rubbers as a precaution
Mouthpiece
The mouthpiece can be optionally extra curved, creating a more comfortable bend than the conventional, which reduces pinch and spreads pressure points around the bars.
Specialization
The Cherry Rollers roll in the horse’s mouth giving him something to play with and reducing the likelihood of the bit being held in the horse’s teeth. They are constructed tightly so there is no chance of pinching. When pulling on the reins, the rollers allow the bit to move along the bars of the horse’s jaws as opposed to rubbing.
Very useful for horses that:
• Lose sensitivity over time
• Lose concentration
• Cross their jaws
